Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 40:31

"But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

I have heard this scripture for as long as I can remember. As a matter of fact, our Pastor just talked about it a month or so ago and while i was in agreement with what he was saying, I didn't really get it....until today.

While I was praying today, I kept saying, "Lord, I know you are doing something great....I am waiting for you no matter how long it takes." As I was praying, God spoke this scripture to me and it hit home.....how can those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength? How does waiting on anything bring strength? DUH........waiting produces patience......waiting produces humility.......waiting produces faith........waiting produces endurance........waiting is training.......strength training......

But take it a step further.....They that wait upon the LORD......shall renew their strength.......here comes the supernatural part..........Ready?......
"They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

There is the testimony.  People say "Wow, how are you going thru this or that?  How are you staying so strong?  How?...How? ...How?
Isaiah 40:31 is how.......God is how.....

So the next time when we encounter something that we know we have to wait for, consider it continued strength training for your soul, and a powerful testimony to everyone elses......

Father, Thank you for your continued patience with me as your child.  You are amazing and an awesome loving father! Thank you for always speaking to me in a very real way.  May your name be glorified in all I do. Amen.

Jeremiah 29:13-14

13 "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity"

When I was struggling with my faith as we all do from time to time.....I remember hearing this scripture often.....God's still small voice asking me to seek Him.....

So I said...."your face Lord will I seek!"

What is Captivity? It is a stronghold that you face.  Everyone has a different stronghold in life.  That stronghold can lead us into captivity.....where you can be held for many years......it is a dark place, where it seems hopeless, cold and empty....a place where you are a prisoner to your surroundings.....a place where strongholds abound and it seems there is no way out......

Ah.....but there is......I found that if YOU/WE seek, the Lord, we will always find Him....He is always there....no matter where WE are....And He will meet us where WE are no matter how disastrous our mess is.  I took the time to look for God in all things and at all times.....I committed myself to scripture reading, to prayer and to exaltation...even when i didn't feel Him near..... I knew He was.....Our response to things in this life is so important and how we respond when things are put in our path determines the maturity of our spiritual condition.....I learned it doesn't matter what we WANT to do, it matters what we NEED to do.
I felt lonely and far off from God, not because He moved, but because I chose my own path....I moved.  So I searched again for Him with my whole heart, but not with partial seeking....not with thoughts like.."Well, i don't see Him, so i guess I'll try again later" but I KNOW you are here and I will wait patiently on the Lord and seek Him regardless.....I will wait for The Spirit of God to fall on me....when i didn't hear from Him right away I said I will beg, plead, cry, hit, kick and scream until I find Him.....that is how treacherously we need Him....I am so humbled to have heard Him and that the Spirit of God gave me strength to do so.  I want and need nothing more than Him.

Prayer for the Day::

Might God! We come here into your presence asking for your spirit to fall fresh on us! Revive our hearts and our minds! Quicken our feet to do your holy will, in accordance to what you have prepared before the beginning of time! Father, we humbly ask for your hand of mercy and strength to lead us and guide us.  Lord Jesus we thank you for your humble sacrifice for us to again reconcile us to yourselves.... In Jesus Holy Name.....Amen

Blogging for Christ

I have decided to start my own blog.....not to hear myself speak or see myself write....but to hopefully encourage the Body of Christ to learn and grow and understand who Christ is as I work to learn and grow and understand who Christ is.  I have seen lately how deceived people are when it comes to who Christ is and how teachers and preachers who are famous have come to make Jesus an all powerful genie of sorts that if you do "this, this and this" then you will be prosperous......While this is somewhat biblical the end message is not......Some people are getting the wrong ideas with this message and they use it to selfish gain such as to have cars, houses, fame, fortune....ect....however, the goal of living for Christ and being "prosperous" is to make others prosperous with your prosperity......If God blesses your hand.....you in turn are to not hoard it to gain earthly treasures, but to give it away......show God's Kingdom, and store up treasures in heaven.....Lets get back to the basic's of Christianity.....which is the Cross, the Resurrection, God's love for us and the Kingdom.......I hope you will subscribe to my Blog and hope you are blessed by it.....
